Combustion Turbine Generation

Phoenix provides integrated EPC services for thermal and renewable power generation from small CHP projects to large multi-unit frame power facilities, biomass facilities, pelletization plants and distributed generation projects.

Phoenix has performed dozens of projects of varying sizes and execution models for over two decades in the US and Canada with an enviable track record of successful results.


These projects have incorporated a variety of technologies in simple and combined cycle plants spanning a spectrum of aero-derivative and frame technologies.

Biomass Energy

Phoenix has significant experience in the design, construction and operation of wood-fired biomass power projects. The principals of Phoenix have owned and operated biomass facilities for over two decades beginning with its first 18 MW biomass project in New Hampshire as EPC Contractor and Investor.  

 

Since then, Phoenix has executed and actively developed a number of biomass projects as EPC Contractor and Investor, typically utilizing traditional stoker and fluidized/bubbling bed boiler technologies. These projects have ranged from 15 to 40 MW utilizing a variety of wood-based fuel resources.

 

Phoenix also has experience with Pellet Fuel Manufacturing Facilities that manufacture fuel pellets from both green wood and sawdust for sale internationally.

Renewable Fuels

Phoenix supports the development and executes EPC projects for a variety specialized renewable fuels including:

  • Organic waste (Anaerobic Digestion) to Bio-gas

  • Bio-diesel Production

  • Renewable Diesel Refining

  • Cellulosic Ethanol

  • Cellulose Biomass to Hydrogen Gas Conversion

 

Phoenix offers an integrated platform for the execution of EPC services at these facilities utilizing a broad spectrum of renewable feedstocks and municipal waste and a variety of technologies.

Phoenix provides integrated EPC services for on-purpose processing producers in the manufacture of a variety of base chemical products for the construction of their specialized hydrocarbon production facilities, including:
